We are currently looking for an experienced communicator at Jurek for an exciting consulting assignment within the public sector. We are looking for an experienced communicator with both operational drive and strategic insight. The role is central to the organization's work with crisis preparedness, serious incidents, and civil defense.

You will help develop structures and working methods in the area while also contributing operationally to daily work. The assignment involves close collaboration with security functions, the communications department, management, operations, and external actors.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Develop and visualize internal support documents such as templates, checklists, and message materials
• Build and develop intranet areas with support related to crisis communication
• Review, develop, and optimize external web information related to crisis preparedness and civil defense
• Support communicators and operations in developing, structuring, and further developing crisis communication plans
• Work with scenario-based plans based on risk and vulnerability analyses as well as continuity planning
• Develop concepts for training and exercises in crisis communication in close collaboration with security functions

We are looking for you who have an academic education in communication, media, or other relevant education deemed equivalent.

Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of experience in qualified communication work, preferably within the public sector, authority, or another complex organization
• Documented experience in crisis communication as well as communication during serious incidents or societal disruptions
• Ability to work both strategically and operationally – from planning to implementation
• Very good ability to express yourself clearly and target-group adapted in speech and writing in Swedish
• Good understanding of the communication role's importance in crisis management and collaboration between different actors

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in a crisis team or a corresponding function
• Experience in planning and conducting crisis exercises and training initiatives
• Knowledge of civil defense, total defense, or municipal crisis preparedness
• Experience with intranets, web publishing, and digital support areas
• Experience collaborating with security functions, management, and external actors

You will be employed as a consultant by Jurek and work on assignment for our client. The assignment is full-time, starting on September 1st and running until December 31st, with the possibility of extension.
